Frenchtown Physical Therapy re-opened their doors on May 16, 2016 under new ownership of Doug Martin, MPT, SCS, CSCS and Heidi Martin, MPT, OCS of Corvallis, MT. We are ecstatic to be able to treat in the Missoula Valley and look forward to making a difference in the community.
Meet Our Providers:
Cassandra earned her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Olympic College in Bremerton, WA. While attending school, she gained a variety of experience including orthopedic rehab, skilled nursing patient care, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and aquatic therapy. Cassandra plans on furthering her education with continuing education courses focusing on orthopedic, manual, and neurological conditions. Her top priority is to provide compassionate and effective treatment to help patients return to the activities they love. She strives to provide a warm and comfortable environment for all our patients.
Sam earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of Montana in Missoula. Prior to Physical therapy school, he attended Carroll College where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in 2014. During PT school Sam had the opportunity to train in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurology, and acute care. Sam’s clinical interests include general orthopedics, manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, and post-surgical rehabilitation. He is currently working towards a certification in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and he is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Sam grew up in Frenchtown, and in his free time he enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Kylie graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in Missoula. While working towards her DPT, Kylie received education in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, and acute care in a hospital intensive care unit. Kylie also earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
Kylie is currently working towards becoming a certified manual therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and has completed specialized training in lower extremities, cervical spine and lumbopelvic regions. Professional interests additionally include an approach emphasizing preventative treatments, overall health and wellness, and restoration of quality of life.
In her free time Kylie enjoys gardening and staying active with her family and friends. Her greatest passions are traveling and exploring the Montana outdoors through backpacking, biking, cross-country skiing and running.
Julie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. Julie’s physical therapy training included clinical experiences in skilled nursing, acute care and orthopedic outpatient settings. Her professional area of focus is post-surgical rehabilitation and general orthopedics. She is passionate about providing high quality, individualized care to help our clients improve their lives and return to their favorite activities. Julie plans on expanding her knowledge and experience through attending continuing education courses in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. Julie is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Julie received with her undergraduate degree in Marine Science from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and worked as a fisheries biologist for a number of years. In addition to fishing, she enjoys hiking, camping, running, gardening and spending time with her husband and two children.
Alison earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana. During her PTA training, Alison worked with patients in neurological and orthopedic outpatient settings as well as gained experience in manual and aquatic therapies and sports medicine and rehabilitation. She focuses on functional and effective treatments and providing trust and respect to each of her patients. Alison plans to expand her clinical skills by attending continuing education courses and staying current with research and evidence-based treatments.
Alison also has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and an Associates of Science in Equine Management from the University of Massachusetts. She enjoys boating, skiing, running, hiking, biking, horses, bird-watching, gardening and cooking.
